How to make culinary sequins?

To make food glitter in three colors, we need the following products: gelatin (8 g per serving, total -24 g), food colors (3), kandurin and water (48 g per serving, total -144 g).

We take three small containers, pour 48 g of water into each of them, pour 8 g of gelatin each. We wait until the gelatin swells and heat the mixture over low heat until it is completely dissolved. You can prepare the mixture in one container, and only then divide into three equal portions.

Add food coloring to each container and stir well.

Add a little kandurin to the colored mixture, choose its color at your discretion, mix everything well.

We take ordinary plastic files, apply our mixture with a brush with a thin layer. We are waiting for about a day until it dries. We remove the finished dry film from the files and grind it with a blender. Our sequins are ready, just sprinkle them on top of the confection. Store in plastic sachets or jars at room temperature.
