The resulting opaque broth is filtered, mixed with lemon or orange juice, and drunk like water.
Another recipe for making a decoction is faster. Barley is lightly fried to kill germs. Then pour 1 glass of cereal with 4 glasses of water and insist for 12 hours in the cold. Then they drink as thirst arises.
