How to check the tightness of cans

Reading time - 2 minutes.
cans tightness
1. The most obvious way is to press on the middle of the lid. If no sound is made, then everything is fine with the can. If the lid clicks and bends a little, then air has entered the jar and the workpiece may deteriorate. 2. A laborious, but very reliable way: pour water into a saucepan, boil and lower the jar into it with the lid down. Pressure builds up and if the lid does not fit snugly against the glass, air bubbles form. In this case, the cans need to be rolled. The jars should be at room temperature so that the glass does not crack due to the temperature drop. Take your time to remove the jar from the water - let it stand for a couple of minutes for a complete check.

3. If there are a lot of jars for checking the tightness, you can use the production method: organize hot water at 80-90 degrees in the bathroom or basin, put closed jars - if bubbles appear, then the jar is not closed tightly enough.
